An Antique Locket with Freshwater Pearls

It is amazing that the quality of work on this antique locket was done on brass.  But, it was.  And the finely executed motif of fleur-de-lis, leaves and flowers surrounding the beautiful oval citrine create an exquisite design. I chose to use lustrous AAA quality  10-10.5 mm pearls with 18 kt. gold barrel-shapped  nuggets to compliment the locket.  The end result is a piece of jewelry that is a show stopper. 

White-colored pearls like these reflect the greatest overall beauty.  The people who seem to benefit most from pearls are those who need to be reminded of their positive qualities.
