About Deanna

Deanna has a never ending curiosity about other people and other lands.  As a Chinese art dealer for twenty years, she has worked and lived in myriad countries through-out Asia and Europe. She searches out the best art in those countries, at some of the best  museums in the world.  She follows the contemporary art scenes  and the street scenes, absorbing the colors and sites and sounds of the people around her.  Be it the serenity of a Buddhist scultpture or the colors of a local fair, her senses are always soaking up the energies in her sphere.  Her jewelry collection reflects those influences.

As a winter resident in St. Barth for the last twenty five years , she has added light and a certain savoir faire to the collection.  The azure waters of the Caribbean Sea,  the jeweled colors of the flowering trees, the chicness of the French women--all find their way into her collection. She interprets those influences and brings a refined  expressiveness to the pieces she creates.

In addition to her life in St. Barth, Deanna also splits her time between a New York city residence and a Michigan lake home with her husband Joseph. She has studied classical jewelry making at the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York and is currently working on her degree in colored stones from the Gemological Institute of America.
