What makes these earrings so special is that they are made with 22 kt. gold.  High count gold is a jeweler’s dream material.  It has a deep rich yellow color; it is soft and malleable, and yet it will rarely break, damage or lose its luster and beauty.  The price of anything executed in 22 kt. gold reflects the fact that its alloy is made up of 91.3% pure gold.  

This ancient filigreed design of spirals and loops are complimented by greenish blue beryl gemstones and tourmaline.  Pure beryl is colorless.  Its color comes from slight impurities.  Green beryl is actually what we all know as emerald.  These slightly blue green beryl stones are aquamarine.
